Accountability
Sellers on Swapific UK are rated. When you buy or swap an item on Swapific UK, you can rate your experience with the seller. The rating you give is then added to the seller's feedback score.

Swap deals or sales failing to follow-through put both the seller's reputation and rating at risk. Don't hesitate to request information from a seller. You can always reach out to the seller before making a swap or buying an item.

Sellers are encouraged to share as much background information as possible so buyers can make informed decisions about the items they swap or buy. If a seller has no demonstrable rating or doesn't share essential information, buyers should consider that.
For sold items, the seller is responsible for shipping and delivery of their sold items.

For swapped items, both parties are responsible for completing and fulfilling the transaction to the best of their abilities.

Their fundamental obligation is to honestly address any concerns, and deliver the sold or swapped item at the agreed time.

We expect both parties to be open and honest with their buyers during all stages of their listing's life cycle.

At the same time, buyers must understand that Swapific UK is not a store. As Swapific UK does not offer refunds, we encourage buyers and swappers to investigate the listed item first, and to vet the seller thoroughly, before making a payment or swap.
Swapific UK does not issue refunds. Transactions are between sellers and buyers directly.

To request a refund for a purchased item, please contact the seller. To message a seller, visit the seller's profile page where you can then click the "Send a private message" button.

Swapific UK is not a store; it's a place where sellers to exhibit their items. Transactions on Swapific UK must be made in good faith. For more information, please visit our Terms of Use.

Our Trust & Safety team reviews any listings flagged internally or reported by members of the Swapific UK community. They look for violations of Swpaific UK's rules and take the appropriate administrative action according to our Terms of Use.

If you'd like to report a listing, please use the "Report" button on the listing page. This will flag the listing to our Trust & Safety team, who will perform a full review.
It's the seller's responsibility to make sure the item is delivered to you. Swapific UK doesn't step into the delivery process itself or manage the fulfilment and shipment of purchased items.

Our site operates on a system of trust and buyers ultimately decide the validity and worthiness of a listing by choosing to either accept it for swap or purchase it.

For more information, please consult our Terms of Use.
We have a dedicated Trust & Safety team that monitors the system for suspicious activity. Our Trust & Safety team screen reports sent to us by our community and take action if they find something that does not align with our rules.

Our Trust and Safety team also tracks users' rating and feedback record as comprehensively as possible to help ensure seller accountability. We may adjust our policies based on feedback from buyers, sellers and swappers, and data aggregated across listings. Some actions taken may include:

  • Reaching out to sellers and reminding them to post shipping and delivery updates as well as respond to buyers messages
  • Revoking account privileges, including the ability to list another item on Swapific UK
  • Suspending or restricting accounts if there is sufficient evidence of abuse against our system or trust of others.
