Swapific UK Posting Rules

When posting on Swapific UK, your ad must meet certain criteria. You must check that you are not prohibited from doing so by any law or regulation. The rules mentioned hereunder are applicable to all ads in all categories.
To use Swapific UK you must be 18 and over.
CREATING AN AD
- The more information you provide about your item/property/etc, the more accurate the response
- Avoid users wasting your time by asking you questions about information you could have provided in the description
- Post in the category that most closely matches your ad
PHOTOS
- Swapific displays photos in landscape (horizontal) format, please consider this when taking photos of your item
- The photographs you are posting need to be of the advertised item, clean, clear and accurate
LANGUAGE
Only in English please
NO CONTACT DETAILS IN TITLES, DESCRIPTIONS, IMAGES OR VIDEOS
- Phone number in ad's title and/or description
- e-mail address in ad's title and/or description
- An image or video with contact details in it
- A URL link in ad's title and/or description
NO DUPLICATE ADS
- You can only post one ad per item. Multiple ads for the same item are not allowed on Swapific UK
AFFILIATES
Do not use language in your ads which may suggest that you are affiliated with Swapific
NO ITEMS THAT ARE NOT AVAILABLE
- Ads for items that you are not in possession are not allowed
- Ads for items that the you are still waiting to receive are not allowed
WEBSITE LINKS
Do not add links to other websites in your ad
NO DESCRIMINATION TERMS
Use of discrimination terms, either offensively or generally is strictly prohibited
NO KEYWORD SPAMMING
- Do not put irrelevant words or phrases in your title or description
- Keyword Spamming wastes time for everybody, and we will remove any adverts containing spam
NOT ALLOWED ITEMS

BANNED ITEMS
You must ensure that your participation in the swapping of items or services does not violate any applicable laws or regulations. By this we mean that you must check that you are not prohibited from doing so by any law or regulation. In particular, you may not sell or swap property which requires a written contract, which is illegal, which requires a licence to buy or sell (for instance firearms, alcohol or pharmaceutical drugs) or which requires you to obtain an export licence
In the interests of animal welfare, live animals of any type may not be listed in any section of the Swapific website
Adult XXX Pornographic items of any type may not be listed in any section of Swapific
Any item that infringes copyright, intellectual property rights or brand recognition may not be listed in any section Swapific
Weapons including, but not limited to, knives, firearms, air powered guns or rifles and coshes may not be listed in any section Swapific. On Police advice, Alpha Twice Limited and Swapific considers paintball guns - rifles - markers to be a weapon
NO "SWAPPED", "GONE", "ENDED" ADS
Do not edit your advert and write ‘SWAPPED’, 'ENDED', 'NOT AVAILABLE' etc If your item has been accepted for swap, we will add a note 'Offer Accepted' to your ad and restrict users from placing new swap offers.
WHEN SOMEONE BREAKS THE RULES
Ads that break the rules are removed from Swapific UK. We inform the ad authors why their ads have been removed, by email or message in their Swapific UK account, if they keep on, we might not refund them for payments they have made.
